Madam Khwairakpam Nilima Devi Joins HRD Academy

HRD Academy is pleased to extend a warm and respectful welcome to Madam Khwairakpam Nilima Devi on her appointment as the Head Mistress of the HRD Academy Foundation Course, commencing from this academic year.

Her appointment coincides with a significant milestone in the growth of HRD Academy. Beginning from February, the Foundation Course will welcome young learners into Nursery, L-KG, and U-KG, marking HRD Academy’s expansion from its long-established focus on Classes XI and XII into early childhood education. This step reflects our belief that strong educational foundations are essential for lifelong learning.

Madam Nilima Devi brings with her more than three decades of rich experience in education, spanning classroom teaching, school leadership, and academic administration. She holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry along with a Bachelor of Education, and has devoted her professional life to shaping young minds with care, discipline, and purpose. Her career includes long years of service as a trained graduate teacher, followed by her role as Principal of Pitambara English School, where she guided academic excellence and holistic development with dedication and clarity.

Beyond classroom teaching and administration, she has actively contributed to teacher development through workshops and training programmes, with a special focus on child psychology and adolescent education. She has guided teachers and students to achieve recognition in academics, performing arts, visual arts, and co-curricular activities at zonal, state, and national levels. Her experience also includes coordinating international educational and cultural exchange programmes, reflecting her progressive and inclusive outlook towards education.

HRD Academy was founded by a group of passionate educators with a shared vision of building an institution where dreams come true. Over the years, it has grown into a reputed co-educational Higher Secondary Institution in Manipur, known for its strong academic discipline, impressive infrastructure, and consistent performance in the Higher Secondary Examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur.
